Being a PBIS school means that we constantly teach, re-teach and model our school-wide behavioral goals of kindness, respect, responsibility and safety. It means we, the adults, are responsible for monitoring and managing our own behavior in order to create environments that promote and exemplify these values. It means the focus is not placed initially on individual students, but on the environment within which any student functions.
